  • Frank visits Mole Class

    Frank has been making weekly visits to Mole class. The pupils have been learning how to look after Frank, they have really enjoyed taking him for walks outside and Frank has enjoyed all the attention. He has made pupils very happy by walking lovely at the side of them and allowing them to brush him. Frank has been off of his lead in the class room exploring the surroundings. 

    Mole Class have shown a lot of enthusiasm and engagement when looking after Frank and really look forward to him visiting.

  • Christmas Jumper and Dinner Day

    We had such a fabulous time on our Christmas Jumper Day. Everyone looked so brilliant in their jumpers, it gave the school a real sense of Christmas spirit. 

    Ann, our school Catering Manager, really spoilt us this year and excelled herself with Christmas Dinner and even more so with her wonderful gingerbread people and The Grinch-inspired buns.

  • CAMHS Parent Training Course

    Huge congratulations to the 9 parents who have, this week, with the amazing support of the team at CAMHS, completed a 6-week programme in developing an understanding of the behaviour of an individual.  

    The course covered a variety of topics that will support them with their children.

    The feedback from this course was extremely positive, so the course will be run again in the New Year.

  • Christmas Fayre 2024

    We are delighted to share that, thanks to your incredible generosity and support at this year’s Christmas Fayre, we raised an amazing £768.94! Your contributions make such a difference, and we are truly grateful for your dedication to our school community.

    These funds will go a long way in supporting the school and ensuring our pupils have access to the best possible experiences. The pupil parliament will meet soon to discuss ways to spend the money raised.

    The community created by parents and carers today was a true demonstration of the school's REACH values.

    Thank you again for making this event a success and bringing the festive spirit to life!

    All pupils in 6th form, who were able, attended the prom.  There was lots of music and dancing and plenty of treats to go round for all.  Students looked amazing, brought their best smiles and dancing shoes for the special occasion!

  • Planetarium visit

    The upper primary topic for this half term is 'To Infinity and Beyond', so to really immerse them in their topic, they had an exciting visit from a mobile planetarium. Pupils spent time in the planetarium learning about space and asked lots of brilliant questions, like' How do astronauts wash or brush their teeth in space?' 

    All the upper primary classes loved the visit, and the staff were so proud of how engaged in the learning all the pupils were.

  • Parent and Carers Makaton Workshop

    We now have 11 parents/carers trained to level 1 Makaton. Well done and congratulations to all who took part and achieved their certificates.

    Due to positive feedback, we are going to progress now to an accredited certificate in Makaton Level 2.
